You will be taken on a guided tour of  all twelve murals of The People's Gallery by one of the artists. This 'walkabout' tour lasts about one hour and is certainly one of the most unique political murals tours in the whole of N.Ireland. You can book from the "booking form" link, left.

TALKS take place on the hour, so, if you miss a tour, you can always catch one of the fascinating presentations that take place daily.

Later, you can relax back at the studio and be informed about the city and its turbulent past by film and slide show presented by Tom and Kevin. At the studio too, you can browse around the artwork in the new Gallery, built recently to showcase some of the young art talent in the city. It was opened by Pauline Ross, director and founder of The Playhouse Theatre and SDLP leader Mark Durkan.

The gallery is a vital feature of the studio, a non-profit making enterprise that has been running for several years under the artists' "Encouragement Program" to give young fledgling, local artists a leg up. For many, a tour of these unique murals has been the highlight of their visit to Derry and its history. It is normally followed by a presentation and question-and-answer session....  schedule permitting. At the studio too, you can pick up mementoes and souvenirs to take home... and have them signed by the artists as well.

The tour is aimed mainly at groups of five or more but that doesn't mean you cannot join a group that has already booked. It is simply a matter of letting the studio know when you plan to visit. This is easily done via phone, fax, email or the bookings form provided.
